Aqua’s Customer Service Wins International Business Recognition

Specialist South Coast engineering company Aqua Group has been honoured by a leading international business community, winning a coveted customer service award and short-listed as a finalist for two additional accolades.

Praised for its exceptional client focus, Aqua was presented with the Best Service Based award at a prestigious gathering of representatives from more than 700 companies at the 2016 ActionCOACH European Business Excellence Forum at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, South Wales last week.

The Hampshire-based process cooling company (with an office in York) also reached the final round of judging in two further categories, Best Import/Export and Most Innovative company, reflecting the prestigious award scheme’s intention to recognise excellence in the Europe, Middle East and Asia region (EMEA).

Aqua’s latest international awards successes follow hot-on-the-heels of regional triumphs: last year the business achieved the ActionCOACH Business Improvement and Growth (BIG) award and Sales Director Simon Davis was named Most Improved Entrepreneur of the Year.

Kevin Lancaster, Aqua Group Managing Director, said: “It is especially significant for us to be recognised in the Best Service Based category because great customer service has particular relevance to the whole Aqua team.”

“Strong client focus is one of our main business drivers and depends on the excellence of our entire staff, our most important asset. Aqua’s ActionCOACH success is testament to our highly-motivated team, and we’re all thrilled.”

In making their award recommendations, ActionCOACH judges were looking for companies that had adopted the business coaching organisation’s 14 points of culture, which include commitment, integrity, team work and consistency.

ActionCOACH’s Kevin Stansfield said: “When I met with Kevin and Simon two years ago, of course Aqua Cooling was a good company. However it was obvious to me, and to them, that they realised they were not delivering their best and that there was a great deal more that Aqua could achieve.

“Our first job was to set a goal and put a plan together to achieve it. Since then the Aqua directors have been implementing that plan, educating themselves and the team on how to play the game better. This award is recognition for what they have done over those years.”
