Aqua Honours Long-Serving Staff

Hampshire’s multi-award winning cooling specialist Aqua Group continues to celebrate its prosperous year by rewarding the dedication of four employees with ten-year service awards.

Operations Manager Louise Glen, Service Director Mark Eilertsen, Service Manager Simon Bell and Customer Service Telemarketer Jenny Warland have been key members of the Aqua team since at least 2005, during which time their hard work and enthusiasm has not gone unnoticed.

Simon Davis, Aqua’s Sales Director, said: “I’m delighted to congratulate Louise, Mark, Simon and Jenny on reaching this ten year milestone with us. It’s a privilege to recognise their long service and loyalty — every member of our expanding team is central to our success”

“Through the loyalty and dedication of these four employees and their colleagues, we have been able to improve our products and services in the UK and around the world. Loyalty like theirs has been the key to establishing Aqua Cooling as a global market leader in cooling solutions.”

The four were hailed at during an official presentation evening in October attended by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire, Nigel Atkinson, which brought the whole company together as staff based at Aqua’s Fareham and York offices commemorated Aqua Cooling’s triumphs in 2015

They have since been awarded with certificates and specially designed, handcrafted silver jewellery to mark the occasion.

This year has been particularly successful for the company, which has made significant advances in the data centre market. Aqua achieved a coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Innovation) with its LPS leak prevention technology, and was proclaimed SME of the Year at the Solent Business Awards 2015 in light of the firm’s export successes and significant contribution to business across the Solent region.

Louise Glen said: “The work that I do is fulfilling and challenging and I have been able to progress my career and learn new skills. Loyalty is rare in the current employment market and people only stay if there’s a positive and enjoyable company culture, so this award is testament to the great team of talented people I have worked with for the last ten years.”

Jenny Warland added: “It was a lovely surprise to receive the bracelet in recognition of my length of service. I started my role at Aqua Cooling 12 years ago, at the very first stage of expansion with just a team of five. Since then, I have seen the team grow much larger and witnessed the opening of our Segensworth and York premises. It’s been very satisfying to be a part of the original team, able to see the company develop to its current level of success.”

Mark Eilertsen said: “I am absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition – I would like to take this opportunity personally to thank our directors Simon and Kevin, who have been fantastic employers for the past ten years.”

Simon Bell added: “I don’t know where the last ten years have gone! Seeing Aqua continually expand and grow has given me a great sense of achievement and I can’t wait to see what the next decade has in store.”
